I AM a sinner!!

Hello all! I've had lots of questions about my intentions with my blog. Some people thought I was writing to give others advice or judge/belittle others for their beliefs. So I feel like I should clarify.

My intentions are in no way to give advice. A lot of this blog is also reassuring and encouraging  myself and others.

I am not perfect! I do not think I even come close! I am not a great mom or a fabulous wife...I am far from perfect! I am a work in progress! I believe this is a whole life journey!

I am a sinner! I always have been! I truly believe sin is a desease of the heart! But I am trying to live more like Jesus! To follow His lead! But I am human! I make mistakes...every day, every hour, and every minute! I NEED Jesus!

I am so overwhelmed by God's grace! I have been blessed far more than I have ever deserved!

Following Jesus means loving and forgiving like he has! Forgiveness is a tough thing...I know that!

"But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."-Matthew 6:15

Anyway, what I am trying to say is, people make mistakes. People sin! We are human! The only "perfect" man to walk this life was Jesus! I am not trying to be Jesus. I am not trying to play God and judge others! I am trying to love a little more like Jesus! I have no intention to try to hurt anyone with this blog. I am not trying to say my life is perfect and you all need to live your life exactly like I live mine!

I just want to encourage others AND myself! The  time is coming! Jesus will come back! When he does I pray I will not feel ashamed of my life! I pray I can say, "I tried my hardest!" We all need a savior and no one and no thing, but Jesus, can fill that need!

Much love!

What does this all mean?!

So here I go! I cannot believe I am actually going to begin this crazy blogging thing, but I believe that this is a way I can give glory to God!

I will start by sharing a little about myself! I am a daughter, sister, wife, and mother of three little girls! Most importantly I am a daughter of an almighty God! Without my big daddy in Heaven I would be nothing! God has blessed my life more than I have ever deserved...now that my friends, is grace!

Nick and I started out as friends. He was just always there. One day I realized how truly special he was so I decided to ask him to be my boyfriend...yes! I asked him! We dated in high school. He asked me to be his wife on the eve of Christmas Eve 2002! I, of course, said yes! Nearly 10 married years later we have three beautiful, little girls! Ella is 8 going on 80! She is an old soul! She always has been! She has more trust in God than most adults I know. Brooke is 6! She came into this world without a cry but she was a fighter and continues to be that same fighter today! And than there is Claire! My little spit fire! She is crazier than any 3 year old I have ever met! We also have a set of twins waiting for us in Heaven along with both set of my grandparents! I cannot wait to hug them and love them all one day! That is one of God's promises I will cling to!

Before all this and throughout all this I have made some very stupid choices! (which i will one day  share) I walked away from God so many times! All that time I have had 2 loving parents that have supported me my whole life! I'm sure they have not always approved of my choices, but they have always loved me! They have stood by and watched me grow! I love them so much! Now that I am an adult I also consider them my dearest friends!

My baby brother is my hero! He was my first best friend even though I did not always treat him like he was! I hope that one day he will know how much I really have loved him!

Long story short, I have recommitted my life to follow Jesus! Throughout this journey I have met people who were once complete strangers at church and in life! I have so much love for these people! It is so strange to me! People I may have actually at one time judged! God has opened my eyes and my heart to them! I find myself praying for strangers almost daily! What I have come to realize is this...family is not just about blood! Church is not just about 4 walls! Friends are not just those you have lots in common with! God has called us all to love one another! So that is why I chose the title for this blog to be "We are HIS and so are they!" We are all God's children and Jesus is a friend and brother to us all! I think if we could just see each other through the eyes of God it would be so much harder to judge and hate!

God has so much to say! He wants us to come back to him! He is the only person who can completely fill every need we have ever had! Trust him! Love him! Let him in your life! And most importantly follow His son Jesus!

Jesus said, "For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."-Matthew 12:50

There you have it, WE are ALL family!

Much love and many blessings!
